Big Bike Build

WeDeliver Wheels completed our 2nd annual Big Bike Build & Giveaway in Calaveras county on March 14th and 15th! We partnered with the Mark Twain Union Elementary School District, surrounding educational agencies, Angels-Murphys Rotary Club, and local fire agencies, and built 75 brand new bikes for local students.

The event started with the bikes being delivered and unloaded by the middle school students which were then assembled on Saturday, March 14th. The bikes were given to students after watching a bike safety video and being fitted with their helmets at the Mark Twain Gym on Sunday, March 15th.

On March 28th, 31 children from Woodlake and surrounding towns received a brand new bike, helmet, and lock through a partnership with WeDeliver Wheels, Premium Extracts, Goin Postal Woodlake and local fire agencies at the 1st annual Big Bike Build in Tulare County.  The program featured over 20 volunteers in the community building brand new out-of-the-box bikes for children. 

Volunteers enjoyed working side-by-side to build new bikes. Due to the success of the event and the need for bikes in Tulare County, we plan to hold a bike build and giveaway annually with more new bikes next year.
